Assigning a line to retailers in bulk

Option required: Custom retailer access
Allowed profiles: Brand manager


The Custom retailer access option allows you to assign a line to retailers in bulk. Once the lines have been assigned, you can restrict retailers' access to collections. For more information about creating and assigning a line to a collection/catalog, please see this article.

Note: if a retailer is not associated with any line, they will be able to access all collections.

✔️ Requirement: each retailer needs to have a reference and the lines must be created before the upload

To assign retailers to a line in bulk via a csv file:

1. Go to Setting wheels > Integration center
   
   
2. Click on Customers (Imports column) > Retailers lines
   
   
3. Download the sample file and fill in the following columns: Action, Line name, Retailer reference
   
   
4. Import the file by dropping it in the grey box or by clicking on the Select file button
   
   
5. Click Next after previewing the data
   
   
6. Click Next again to confirm the import
   
   

The Retailer reference column identifies the retailer. It should be filled in using the retailer's reference.

The Line name column identifies the relevant line. It should be filled using the line name, which can be found by going to the menu Collections > Collections > Lines tab.

If you wish to assign a retailer access to the given line, enter ADD in the Action column at the retailer's row. If you wish to remove a retailer's assignation to the line, enter REMOVE in the Action column an the retailer's row.
