You can cancel any order placed with Le New Black. Depending on the order's status, there are different steps to cancel an order.
When an order is canceled, no notification is sent to the buyer. If you wish to inform the buyer of an order cancellation, you need to add a note to the order. To do this, go to the canceled order > Notes & messages tab > Send a message to the buyer.
Cancelling a pending or confirmed order
To cancel a pending (Open for buyer or Open for brand status) or a confirmed order (Confirmed status):
- Go to the Sales > Orders menu
- Click on the relevant purchase order number
- Change the status of the order to Canceled by clicking on this status
- Click on Apply
Cancelling an invoiced / a closed order
To cancel an invoiced or closed order :
- Go to the Sales > Orders menu
- Click on the relevant purchase order number
- Click on the Confirmed status and click on Apply to unlock the Canceled status
- Change the status of the order to Canceled by clicking on this status
- Click on Apply
