If you are not using an ERP connector, there are two ways to create your retailers in Le New Black. You can either create retailers manually or in bulk via a csv file.
Creating a retailer manually
To create a retailer manually:
- Go to Customers > Retailers menu
- Click the Create a retailer button
- Fill in the mandatory cells: Name, City, Country. Fill in the remaining fields according to the information you have on the customer
- Add additional information to the client type as explained in this article
- Fill in the buyer's e-mail address and click on the Check button in the Buyer section. If the buyer already exists on Le New Black, the system will pre-fill their first and last name. If the buyer doesn't exist, fill in the First name and Last name fields
- Click on Create
Importing retailers in bulk
To integrate retailers in bulk via a csv file:
- Navigate to the settings wheel > Integration center
- Click on Customers (Imports column) > Retailers
- Download the sample file and fill it in making sure the following columns are not empty: Name (Commercial name), Contact email (buyer email address) and Country (two letter ISO code). Click here to see the whole list of countries with their ISO codes
- Upload the file by dropping it in the grey box or by clicking on the Select file button after making sure that the import file is correct
- Click on Next after previewing the extracted data
- Click on Next again to confirm the retailer data import
