Segments allow you to categorise your client base more precisely. A retailer can belong to multiple segments at once. Once created, segments can be used to target specific campaigns, filter orders, restrict collection access, manage exclusives products and build custom reports.
Create a segment and add retailers manually
- Go to the Customers menu > Segments
- Click on a Create a segment
- Enter a name and a code for the segment. The code will be used to reference this segment in CSV imports.
- Select the retailers you want to add in this segment by clicking on their name
💡 Use filters to display quickly retailers by country, sales rep or type
- Click on Save to validate the segment creation
The segment now appears in your segments list and is ready to use.
Add or remove retailers in bulk via CSV
- Navigate to the ⚙️ Settings > Integration center
- Click on Customers section in the Imports column
- Click on Retailers segments and download the sample file under the Check-list section
- Fill in the required columns:
- Action: enter ADD to assign a retailer to the segment, or REMOVE to unassign them
- Segment code: the code defined when creating the segment

Retailer reference: the retailer's unique reference
- Drop the file in the grey box or click on Select file button to browse your computer
- Click NEXT to preview the data that will be imported
- Click NEXT again to validate the import of the file
The retailers are now added or removed from the selected segment.
