Le New Black allows you to apply different order conditions at two levels: basket/order and product. This article will explain the order conditions at product level. If you are interested in setting an order condition at basket/order level, please read this article.
 

• Setting up an order multiple or min/max quantity

Setting up an order multiple or min/max quantity

There are two order conditions available at the product level.

Firstly, the order multiple allows you to constrain the quantity input to a multiple of a value. It can be useful if you sell the product by package. Eg. 5 items per package.

Secondly, the minimum or maximum quantity by order will help you limit the buyer or sales team to not order less or more than the min/max quantity setup for this product. Please note that this limit is applied for the product overall, it is not defined by variant. Eg. you setup 2 minimum quantity for a product that has 2 variants, if the buyer puts 1 quantity for each variant (total of 2 quantity), it means he met the conditions and the order will be valid. 

To add an product order condition, follow the steps below:
 

1. Navigate to the Collections menu > Products
    
2. Enter the desired product by clicking on its name
    
3. Scroll down to the Order conditions section 
    
4. Fill in the order multiple or min/max quantity fields
    
5. Click on Save
    

Blocking the min/max for buyers or sales rep

By default, the min/max quantity for products that you setup are not blocking for the buyers or your sales rep. It means they will have an indication of what is the recommended minimum or maximum quantity for this product during the order process but they will still be able to place the order and send it to you even if the quantity ordered do not match the min/max quantity setup.
