By default, your buyers can select a different delivery date from the ones you set up in your collection / sales catalogs while placing an order. To prevent this, you may block the delivery dates of your collection.
Blocking rules
Depending on the automatic order split set on your showroom, the blocking rules will be different.
The desired delivery dates during the order process (Buyer details step) will be blocked only if all the products are from collections where the delivery window is closed.
Split by collection/sales catalog
If the order includes products from one collection with a closed delivery window and one collection with an open delivery window, the brand or buyer will be able to select a different delivery date. The delivery date chosen during the order process will be applied only on the PO number of the collection where the delivery window is open.
Split by order mode
If the order includes products from one collection with a closed delivery window and one collection with an open delivery window, the brand or buyer will be able to select a different delivery date. The delivery date chosen during the order process will be applied on the final PO.
If the order includes products from two collections with the same delivery window that both are closed, the final PO will have the same delivery window and will not be editable.
If the order includes products from two collections with a different delivery window that are both closed, the final PO will have an empty delivery window.
