Required option: Sales catalogs
Allowed profile: Brand manager
This import allows you to assign or update drop dates at the product variant level within a specific sales catalog. It also lets you add or remove product variants from a catalog in bulk. Before you start, make sure the target sales catalog has already been created.
Please note that the drop period at Sales catalogs variant level always takes the priority in the order on the drop period filled at the Product variant level.
- Navigate to the ⚙️ Settings > Integration center > Imports column
- Click on Sales catalogs products and download the sample file under the Check-list section. Or, if product variants are already assigned to the catalog, export an existing file via the Export column and keep only the columns listed in Step 3.
- Fill in the required columns:
- Sales catalog code: the code defined when you created the sales catalog
- Model: the product unique identifier
- Variant: the fabric name or fabric code linked to the model
- Drop date start on: the sales catalog variant drop period start date (DD/MM/YYYY)
- Drop date end on (not mandatory): the sales catalog variant drop period end date (DD/MM/YYYY)
- Drop the file in the grey box or click on Select file button to browse your computer
Note: If you use the fabric code instead of the fabric name, select Code in the Fabric identifier dropdown before dropping your file.
- Click NEXT to preview the data that will be imported
- Click NEXT again to validate the import of the file
The product variants are now updated with their drop dates in the catalog. To verify, go to Collections > Sales catalogs, open the relevant catalog, and click the Products tab.
