Le New Black lets you manage your shipping fees according to different rules or customers, and by order tier (amount, products, quantities). You can then apply them automatically to your new orders using a setting.
Creating shipping fees
To create shipping fees, follow the steps below:
- Go to the settings wheel > Shipping fees
- Click Create a shipping fee
- Enter a name and a code, then select the type: Free shipping, Fixed rate or Variable rate
For a fixed rate, you can choose the currency and enter an amount. For a variable rate, enter a percentage, which is calculated on the order subtotal (before customer/order discount). The same applies if you enter a min/max amount
- Enter order conditions if needed: min/max amount, number of products or quantities
Creating several rules with min/max amounts lets you manage tiered shipping fees
- Then select an order mode: any order mode, pre-order or in-stock
- Choose the customer scope, by country or by a specific list of retailers. By country, you can select the country directly on the map or from the list by continent using the tick boxes. By retailer, you can access the list of all your retailers, which you can filter by country, agent and type
- Click Apply to create the shipping fees
Applying shipping fees to your orders automatically
To apply your shipping fees automatically each time an order is created, follow the steps below:
- Go to the settings wheel > Settings
- Click the Orders tab
- Turn on the toggle on the Shipping fees line
| Note: This setting does not apply retroactively to your existing orders. Once the setting is turned on, you can still apply shipping fees to an existing order, but only if you reopen the order by clicking Edit products. |
