LE NEW BLACK allows you to apply access rules to agents/sales representatives to restrict the visibility of collections/catalogs linked to authorised lines only. To apply these rules, you need to create lines beforehand and link your catalogs/collections to these lines.
For example, if you have created two lines to distinguish between Men's and Women's collections, a sales rep restricted to the Men's line will not be able to see the collections linked to the Women's line.
Access rules definition
A sales representative who is limited to certain lines can only access collections/catalogs, retailers, and orders linked to these lines. He can view and access:
- retailers to which he is assigned as a "main rep" or via country, and who are themselves authorised to at least one line which is open to the agent. This article explains how to limit retailer access by line
- retailers to which he is assigned as an "additional rep", without any line filter
- orders linked to a line to which he is authorised and orders placed by himself
- collections/catalogs associated with an authorised line
The sales rep will be able to view and modify only orders linked to a line for which he is authorised on his clients list.
Assign a line to an agent
To limit an agent to one or more lines:
- Go to settings wheel > Team users
- Click on the relevant agent name
- Go to the Assignment rules tab
- Select the agent's line
- Check the assignment by geographical territory in the Countries assignment section
- Click the Save button

Note: if no line is selected, the agent will have access to all retailers based on direct assignment and by country.
