Allowed profile: Brand manager

The Taxes module allows you to create different taxes based on the invoiced country. By default, the tax will be pre-filled in invoices however it can be pre-filled automatically in orders as well by activating a setting. 

Please note that the Invoicing module is an extra option. To add it on your suscription, please contact your account manager.

Creating a tax

To create a tax, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the settings wheel  > Taxes
   
   
2. Click on Create a tax
   
   
3. Fill the required fields: Name and Rate
   
   
4. Select the countries where you want to apply the tax. This means for all invoices and orders (if activated) linked to this country, the tax will be pre-filled automatically
   
   
5. Click on Save
   
   

There are two additional steps if you have the Invoicing module:

1. 1. Select Yes or No to apply the tax to shipping cost as well in invoices
      
      
   2. Fill the Invoice notice if needed. This message will be displayed in every PDF invoice linked to this tax/country under a "Note" section
      
      

Applying the tax in orders

To pre-fill automatically taxes in orders, follow the steps below: 

1. Go to the settings wheel > Settings
   
   
2. Click on Orders tab
   
   
3. Activate the button next to Taxes
   
   
4. Click on Save
