Orders bulk editor may allow you to apply an action on many items in a row. This is perfectly convenient for applying updates on objects that lie in multiple places, such as a product listed in multiple orders. With the bulk editor, you can cancel one variant in orders and replace one variant with a new one.
Please go to Setting wheel > Bulk editor to begin.
Cancelling product references
This editor lets you select a fabric, then select related product variants you wish to cancel, and then select orders where you wish to remove these variants. Only pending orders can be updated. You may choose to notify your buyers and suggest some other references.
- Click on Launch editor of Cancel product references and begin the selection
Select the variant canceled in the first from the first column. Then, select the products and the orders to remove the variant from. After confirming the selection, click on Update order(s) to reach the next step. - Composing a message to notify the customers regarding the cancelation
The default message is set in the dedicated field and of course, you can modify it by proposing an alternative variant if needed. Once the message finished, click on Update order(s) to go to the next step. - Finalising the cancelation
When the status of the order is written Order updated, the process has completed.
Replacing a product reference
This editor enables you to select a new product variant in replacement of the product variant to cancel and then select orders you wish to update. Only pending orders can be updated. You may choose to notify your buyers of this product variant swap.
- Clicking on Launch editor of Replace a product reference and beginning the selection
To select a variant that you wish to replace, the new variant and the order in the columns. After finishing the selection, click on Update order(s) to the next step. - Composing a message to notify the customers regarding the replacement of the variant
After finishing the message, click on Update order(s) to reach the next step. - Finalising the cancelation
After the status of the order is showing Order updated, the process has finished.
